Rivers, lakes and seas; from the Great North Swim to your daily dip… Designed in collaboration with industry guru Dean Jackson to promote your natural swimming position, Terrapin was made with adventure swimming and open water in mind.
Terrapin is our thinnest, most flexible wetsuit. It provides enough buoyancy to help you move swiftly through the water, adds a thermal layer to keep you warm, and still leaves you with excellent freedom of movement for an unrestricted stroke, particularly around the shoulders.
Compared to the Lotic, Terrapin features thinner neoprene around the back of the leg. This means it has minimal impact on your body’s buoyancy, reducing body roll for a more natural swimming position. 2 mm neoprene at the neck reduces chafing, and the underarm neoprene is thinner still (1.5 mm), giving you the flexibility you need to really extend your reach for long powerful strokes.
Exclusively made from Yamamoto limestone neoprene throughout. This gives it excellent dirt and water repellence, which reduces drag through water so that you move efficiently. Glideskin also reduces heat conduction from the body, making it warmer than standard neoprene. The lower leg is a high abrasion area, so we’ve used nylon-faced neoprene around the calf and shin for added durability.
The wrists, shoulders and neck feature bright flashes of blue to help you stay visible in the water. A long lanyard zip puller up the back means you can get into your wetsuit without relying on a passer-by to help you!
Terrapin is fully recyclable at end-of-life to be made into new neoprene products through our partnership with Circular Flow.
Terrapin is great affordable suit for a natural swimming experience, ideal for both stronger swimmers, and those making their first strokes into open water.
